So this is a picture of a recently replaced water main here in Fall River. It's a 6 inch cast iron pipe. From 1895.
After the past 115 years i guess it corroded enough so that there was only a 1 inch butt-hole looking spot for the water to flow through.
Theres like 50 miles of this shit under the streets.
It's all i thought about when i took a shower before.
